As its name suggest the Walkin’ Hock Splint is ideal for any injuries or issues related to your dogs Achilles tendon (heel) or hock. It stabilses the lower limb keeping the paw free while supporting your dogs heel to a speedy recovery.

Conditions that may benefit from the Walkin’ Hock Splint include:
Tarsal joint instabilities or malformations
Soft tissue injuries to tarsal tendons/ligaments
Osteoarthritis of tarsal joint
Degenerative Joint Disease of Tarsus (DJD)
Post-surgical protection.
The Hock Splint does NOT extend under the paw
It’s important to remember that any splint or bootie will need to be removed at bedtime, and should be removed for at least an hour during the day to allow the foot to breathe.
How to Put on the Walkin’ Rear Splint
Sizing
Measure from the top of your pet’s paw at the point located on the backside of the leg to the midpoint between hock and knee.

If joint is swollen due to arthritis or other medical condition, go up a size to accommodate swelling, and adjust fit using foam to create a more custom fit.
